Checking Comfort Closing

Function:
On vehicles with tilt and slide power sunroof and central locking, the comfort closing allows the operator to close the sunroof and engage the locks from the door lock using the vehicle key.
On vehicles tilt and slide power sunroof and power windows the comfort closing makes it possible to close the sunroof and lower and raise the windows from the door lock.The comfort closing for the power sunroof is not available on vehicles not also equipped with central locking.

Operation:
The operator closes the tilt and slide power sunroof and/or the windows by inserting the key in either of the front door locks and holding it in the "lock" position until:

- the power sunroof is completely closed, or
- all windows and the tilt and slide power sunroof are completely closed.

The windows are opened by holding the key in either front door lock in the "unlock" position until the windows are all the way down.

All functions can also be controlled using the infrared remote control.

- Mechanical tilt and slide sunroof OK
- Tilt and slide button from sunroof switch E8 OK
- Fuse No. 16 (15 A), on fuse/relay panel OK
- Fuse No. 21 (15 A), on fuse/relay panel OK
- Central locking for doors OK
- Infrared remote control for central locking OK
