Steering Gear
Power steering gear assemblyCAUTION:
Steering components must not be welded or straightened.
Replace all self-locking nuts and bolts.
Lubricate the steering rack with Part No. AOF 063 000 04, or exact equivalent.
Use only hydraulic oil, Part No. G 002 000, in power steering system.
Note: The steering gear must be replaced as a complete unit, if defective.
Hydraulic fluid capacity of steering system is 0.7-0.9 liters (0.74-0.95 US qt).
1. 35 Nm (26 ft lb)
2. Tie rod, left: 70 Nm (52 ft lb)

Fill to MAX. mark with hydraulic oil G 002 000
7. Hose clamps

To remove steering gear, remove hose at pump and drain
13. O-ring
14. Tie rod end
15. 50 Nm (37 ft lb)
16. Tie rod, right 70 Nm (52 ft lb)

Can be replaced with steering gear installed
Must not be twisted after tie rod adjustment
