Fog/Driving Lamp: Testing and Inspection

Use test system VAG 1466 for troubleshooting.

Test Conditions:
^ Fuse no. 10 (15A) OK
^ Left front fog light L22 and right front fog light L23 OK

Preparation for Troubleshooting
- Remove busbar or fog light relay J5 from relay location 10.
- Insert test adapter VAG 1466/3 into relay location 10.
- Connect VAG 1466 to test adapter.

Troubleshooting - Checking Fog Lights:

Troubleshooting Procedure
- Perform test steps according to table.
- If specified value/test result is obtained, proceed to next step (test result OK).
- If specified value/test result is not obtained, use table for troubleshooting and repair.
- Use valid wiring diagram for wire testing.
- Disconnect test leads after each step.
- After repairing malfunction, perform functional test of fog lights.
