Headlamp: Service and Repair

CAUTION: Before working on the electrical system disconnect the battery ground (GND) strap.

NOTE: After any changes which could effect the headlight setting, the headlight must be adjusted.

Headlight Housing, Removing/Installing:

Remove Radiator Grill:





- Using a suitable screwdriver push back the locating tabs -arrows-.
- Carefully remove radiator grill.

Marker Lights Next to Headlight, Removing:





- Insert suitable screwdriver behind the light, push forward carefully -arrow- and remove trim cap.

Front Trim Strip, with Radiator Grille, Removing:





- Remove hexagon bolts -arrow
- Push back locking tabs -arrows- with suitable screw driver
- Remove radiator grille

Headlight Housing, Removing:





- Remove hex bolts -arrows-.
- Disconnect connector at rear of headlight housing.

Headlight Housing Cover Plate, Removing:





- Cover plate -1- low beam
- Cover plate -2- high beam

Remove cover cap by pressing back the locking mechanism -arrows-.
