Some models are equipped with a radio anti-theft system that will disable the system when battery power is interrupted, unless the system is reset the radio will not operate.

Do not use computer memory saver tool on air bag equipped models. Using the tool will keep the air bag system charged and may cause accidental activation of the air bag unit.

If AM/FM and SCAN buttons are depressed too long or depressed again, radio will misinterpret the 1000 as an attempt at coding and one incorrect coding attempt will be logged. After two incorrect attempts to reset system radio will lock up electronically, if this occurs leave radio On for approximately 1 hour, then reset radio as if battery power were disconnected.
