Check DTC Memory

- Fault read out device V.A.G 1551, connecting.
- Initiate On Board Diagnostic (OBD). On Board Diagnostic (OBD) For Radio-Frequency Remote Control For Central Locking, Initiating
- Switch printer on via Print -button (indicator lamp in button illuminates).

Indicated on display:

Rapid data transfer HELP
Select function XX

- Press buttons - 0 - and - 2 - to select "Check DTC Memory", function 02.

Indicated on display:

02 - Check DTC Memory

- Press Print -button.
- Press Q button to confirm input.

Display indicates number of stored malfunctions.

X malfunctions recognized. ->

Stored malfunctions are displayed and printed out in sequence.

NOTE:
- If a malfunction was recognized:
- 1. Repair malfunction
- 2. Erase DTC memory (function 05)
- 3. Check DTC memory again (function 02)

- Repair malfunction using print-out and DTC table.
- Function "Read measuring value block", and display group overview starting on page, will be helpful for this. Measuring Value Block

Measuring value block is divided into 3 display group numbers. Assignment of individual display fields can be found in display group overview starting on page. Measuring Value Block

If "No DTC recognized" is displayed, program will return to start position after--> -button is pressed.

If something else is displayed: Operating instructions for Scan Tool (ST)

- End Output (function 06). End Output
- Switch off ignition and disconnect diagnostic connector.
