Steering Gear: Application and ID

Steering gears are supplied by two different manufacturers, TRW and ZF. Boots, Mounting Rubbers and Tie Rods are NOT interchangeable.

ZF steering gears are normally found on the V6 powered models and the Cabriolet.

TRW steering gears are normally found on models with 4 cylinder gas and diesel engines.
