      Road Test: Check kickdown, steering, heating, ventilation, A/C, power accessories and electrical systems.
    Computers and Control Systems
      Check and clear codes.
Inspect
    Timing Belt
    Steering and Suspension
      Check dust seals and play of tie rod ends and ball joints.
    Shift Interlock, A/T
      Check operation, including park/neutral position switch.
    Power Steering Fluid
      Add if necessary.
    Manual Transmission/Transaxle
      Check fluid level, check for leaks.
    Exhaust System
    Engine
      Check for leaks.
    Drive Belt
      V-Belt: Check tension and condition; Poly-ribbed belt: cehck condition (every 60,000 miles)
    Constant Velocity Joint Boot
    Brakes and Traction Control
      Check for damage and/or leaks; check brake pad thickness; check brake fluid level
    Battery
      Check electrolyte level and add if necessary. DO NOT attempt to check or add fluid to a maintenance free battery.
    Automatic Transmission/Transaxle
      Check fluid level in transmission and final drive.
