Sliding/tilting roof assembly frame, removing/installing





- Disconnect ground strap from battery

- Remove interior light assembly

- Remove screws -1- and -2- and pull off cable drive cover in direction of arrow.

Notes: Bracket -3-is also secured with the screws -1-.





- Pull beading off molded headliner cut-out. (To assist installing the replacement part, beading is supplied with a cord in clamping channel).

Notes:
- When installing, there is a space (a = 180 mm) in the area of the cable drive.
- Space is marked by notches in the frame.

- Remove trim panels on A-pillar, top of B-pillar, top of C-pillar and D-pillar.

- Remove headliner
