Extracting Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC's)

1. Connect scan tool No. VAG 1551, or equivalent, to the Diagnostic Link Connector (DLC), located on the LH lower side of the instrument panel to right of the steering column.
2. Follow scan tool manufacturer's instructions to access Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
3. Refer to "Speed Control Diagnosis Trouble Code Tables", for information on any speed control DTC accessed.
