Idle Speed Boost Shaft, Replacing O-Rings





NOTES: The numbered items in the procedure that follows refer to illustration above.

- Remove pump cover (without replacing throttle lever bushing).
- Loosen nut -19- for securing throttle lever shaft -20- and remove lever.
- Press idle speed boost shaft -7- back, and replace O-ring -23-.
- Install pump cover. Throttle Lever Bushing, Cover Gasket and O-ring, Replacing

O-ring for Injection Start Positioner -N165-, replacing
- Place clean cover beneath injection pump.





- Remove cover screws -1- with commercial wrench for Torx� socket screws, e.g. Hazet 2115-T30.
- Take off cover -2- and clean.
- Replace O-ring -3- and install cover with the existing shims -4-.
