Wheel Cylinder: Testing and Inspection

NOTE: Use care to ensure that the dust seal is not damaged. Use only a blunt instrument (example: modified plastic wedge VAG 1474/5). Tools and Equipment

1. Using modified wedge VAG 1474/5, carefully lift dust seal.
2. If brake fluid is found in the dust seal, replace wheel cylinder.
