Engine Oil Level

1. After switching the engine OFF, wait at least 3 minutes to allow the oil to flow back into the pan.
2. Remove dipstick, wipe with a clean cloth and reinsert as far as stop.

WARNING: Observe prescribed oil disposal instructions.

3. Remove dipstick again and read oil level: The oil level must be at the top edge of the shaded area -A- but not above it.

CAUTION: Damage to the catalytic converter can occur when the oil level is above -B-.

4. If oil level below shaded area -A-, fill to mark -B-.
