Reading Measuring Value Block (Function 08)

Overview:
Three measuring value block display groups each have four display fields that can be read. For troubleshooting, however, only the data in display group 1 and in display field 1 of display group 2 are used.

CAUTION::
- Only inspect wiring visually. Do not perform electrical continuity testing or measurements in the Airbag ignition circuits.
- Only check wiring with the ignition off.

Reading

V.A.G. Display:

- Press keys -0- and -8- to initiate "Read measuring value block"

V.A.G. Display:

- Press key -Q- to confirm input

V.A.G. Display:

- Input confirmation display

Display Groups, Overview:





- Select display group number. (Example: press keys -0- and -1- to select display group 01)
- Press -Q- key to confirm input.

V.A.G. Display:

- With the printer switched on the actual display content will be printed out. Refer to the images below.

- If all values in display fields OK: Press -> key.

- (clear for function selection)

NOTE: After completing function O8 "Measuring Value Block", check DTC Memory.
