Checking Heated Driver Seat

Use for Troubleshooting:
^ Test system VAG 1466
^ Multimeter Fluke 83 (US 1119)

Test Condition:
^ Fuse no. 14 (10A) OK

Preparation for Troubleshooting
- Remove driver's seat heater control module J131 (production control number 59) from relay location under driver seat.
- Insert test adapter VAG 1466/6 into relay location.
- Connect VAG 1466 to test adapter.
- Switch off seat heating.

Troubleshooting Procedure
- Perform test steps according to table.
- If specified value/test result is obtained, proceed to next step (test result OK).
- If specified value/test result is not obtained, use table for troubleshooting and repair.
- Use valid wiring diagram for wire testing.
- Disconnect test leads after each step.

NOTE:
- If malfunction has not been eliminated after performing steps 1 to 5, replace driver's seat heater control module J131.
- After repairing malfunction, perform functional test of heated driver seat.
