CAUTION: Before working on electrical system, obtain radio code and disconnect battery Ground (GND) strap.

NOTE:
- Parts marked with * can only be serviced in specially equipped Service workshops. The refrigerant must be evacuated with Service station ACR4.
- All available procedures for servicing components are not necessarily in this article. If the information needed is not found in this article alone, try looking for information under specific component.

With Air Conditioning:

- Switches off compressor clutch -N25- at low ambient temperature (off at -1 °C -34 °F-, on at +7 °C -45 °C.)

- Opening must be sealed sufficiently to stop water ingress

- Thermal switch for air conditioner shut-off -F163- only on vehicles with engine codes AAA, AAZ or ABF
- Thermal switch for coolant fan, 3rd speed -F165- only on vehicles with 3-speed fan motor
- -F165- switch coolant fan into 3rd speed as temperature increases (on at 112 °C -234 °F- off at 108 °C -227 °F-).
- -F163- switches off compressor clutch -N25- at excessively high coolant temperature off at (119 °C -245 °F-, on at 112 °C -232 °F-)
