Activator

Removing:





- Remove door trim and partially remove plastic moisture barrier.
- Disconnect bi-pressure hose -1-.
- Separate multi-pin connector -2- from activator.
- Separate connector -3- from Driver's or Passenger's Door Central Locking Switch.
- Remove door lock/latch with activator.





- Turn door lock rotary latch to "locked position".
- Remove Torx bolt -1- (T15).
- Open retainers -arrows-, release activator and separate from door lock.





When the activator is removed, locking lever -1- slides out of the slot in the striker -2-.

Installing:
During installation, locking lever -1- must once again engage striker -2-.

NOTE: If the door latch/lock does not operate properly after the activator has been replaced, the complete door lock and activator assembly should be replaced as a unit.
