Center Arm Rest, Removing and Installing

Center arm rest, removing and installing (Jetta)

Note:

The center arm rest can only be folded down with the seat back in the upright position (installed position).





1 - Center arm rest

Removing:

- Remove back rest (splitseat).

- Fold down center arm rest.

- Remove trim -2-.

- Remove Phillips- head screws -5-.

- Press bearing on bracket -4- apart (arrow -D- and disconnect bearing rod for center arm rest. (Bearing rod cannot be removed through opening on bearing).

2 - Trim

Removing:

- Remove back rest (split seat).

- Fold down center arm rest.

- Disconnect side tab (arrow -A-) and center tab (arrow -B-) and push trim upward (arrow -C-).
