Condition

Difficulties in closing rear lid.

May be caused by rear latch striker screws coming loose.

Note:
Battery drain due to luggage compartment light remaining on, may also result from this condition.

Service





- Replace current screws (qty 2) with Part No: N 904 723 01.

^ Tightening torque: 8 Nm (71 in. lb)

- Adjust striker assembly to ensure lid is completely closed, light is switched OFF and the gaps at side panels and tail lights are even.
