Bearing Bracket, Removing And Installing

Removing
- Remove lock cylinder housing.
- Remove door handle.
- Remove subframe or Convertible.







- Remove bolt - 1 - push mounting bracket in door toward rear and unhook retaining tab - 2 - from door opening.

Installing
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.







- Before installing mounting bracket, check or establish proper installation position of spring lever - 1 -.

Spring bracket - 1 - must be pressed into bearing bracket against spring pressure, and blocked in this position by movable locking mechanism - 2 -.
