Aiming must be done in conjunction with On Board Diagnostic (OBD) program "Basic Setting" (Scan Tool function 04).

Where applicable, also check/confirm position of driving direction selector on headlight housing. Confirm setting for the USA/CDN:

Driving direction setting, checking

HID headlamps may be equipped with a mechanism that allows the headlight beam pattern to be changed in accordance with market appropriate driving direction. Potential glare to oncoming traffic is minimized with the proper setting.

- Remove headlight housing
- Remove sealing cap
- Confirm selector -1- to be in lower setting - down arrow-.
- Selector up -A-: right-hand drive (e.g.: Great Britain - Australia etc.)
- Selector down -B-: left-hand drive (e.g.: USA - Canada - Europe etc.)
