Fuel Filter

Fuel Filter, Servicing






1. Water drain screw
Loosen and allow approx. 100 cubic cm fluid to drain
To drain: loosen bleeder screw (item 14)

2. Seal
Replace if damaged

3. Fuel filter
Observe change intervals
Loosen with strap wrench
Fill with Diesel before installing
Tighten by hand

4. Seal
Replace if damaged

5. Supply line
Ensure it is securely seated from fuel tank, item 9

6. Supply line
Ensure it is securely seated to injection pump

7. 0-ring
Replace

8. Return line
Ensure it is securely seated from Diesel injection pump

9. Control valve
Installation position: arrow points towards fuel tank
Below + 15°C: Passageway to filter open
Over + 31°C: Passageway to filter closed

10. Securing plate
11. 5 Nm (3.7 ft. lbs.)

12. Return line
Ensure it is securely seated to fuel tank (item 10)

13. Check valve
Installation position: arrow points towards fuel tank

14. Bleed screw
10 Nm (7 ft. lbs.)
Loosen to drain
When changing filter, loosen to bleed

15. Seal
Replace if damaged

16. Fuel filter flange
Flow direction is marked by an arrow
Do not interchange connections
