Backrest upper section

Removing
- Remove cover - 1 - with piping sewn in from carrier flange - 3 -.







- Pull off cover -1 - from cushion - 2 - and from carrier - 3 -.

Installing
Installation is reverse of removal

Backrest lower section







1 - Cover
- Removing:
- Remove cover with piping sewn in from carrier flange, cut through cushion clamps and unhook cushion wires using awl V.A.G 1636 from cushion .

2 - Carrier
3 - Cushion
4 - Cushion clamp
- Cut through to remove (will be destroyed)
- To install, replace with new and compress using cushion pliers V.A.G 1634

5 - Cushion wire
- Hooked into cushion, unhook and hook using awl V.A.G 1636

Installing
Installation is reverse of removal
