Backrest, Removing And Installing

Removing
- Remove front seat.
- Remove adjusting knob - 4 -.
- Drive out spreader pins - 5 - on left and right sides inward. forward spreader pin contacts seat frame, press spreader pin downward from above using a screwdriver.
- Remove cover - 6 - from backrest frame.
- Remove screw - 11 -.

NOTE:
- Check bushings - 12 -on left and right sides for damage, replace if necessary.
- Replace screw - 11 - (micro-encapsulated). Remove adhesive residue in nut thread using tap. Coat new bolt with locking fluid D 185 400 A2.

- Remove locking washer - 7 - at left and right.







- Pull backrest frame from mounting pin - 13 -.







Installing
- Installation is reverse order of removal.
