Airbag Spiral Spring/Return Spring With Slip Ring F138, Removing And Installing

NOTE: Steering wheel 03.98 --> is different from steering wheels installed previously only in relation to removing and installing airbag.

Removing
- Remove driver side airbag module --> 02.98.
- Remove driver side airbag module 03.98 -->.
- Remove steering wheel.
- Disconnect single harness connector for horn.







- Remove screws - 1 - and remove Airbag Spiral Spring/Return Spring With Slip Ring F138 - 2 - from steering wheel.

Installing
- Installation is reverse order of removal.

NOTE:
- Wheels must be in straight-ahead position when removing or installing Airbag Spiral Spring/Return Spring With Slip Ring F138.
- A new Airbag Spiral Spring/Return Spring With Slip Ring F138 is secured in centered position with a tie wrap.
