Sensor For Drivers Side/passengers Side Head-level Airbag, Removing And Installing

NOTE:
- Slight changes may have to be made to removal and installation procedures, depending upon equipment installed in vehicle.
- Obtain radio code before disconnecting battery.
- After connecting battery, vehicle options (radio, clock, electric window regulator) must be checked according to repair manual and/or user manual.

Removing

CAUTION: Before working on electrical system: Disconnect battery ground (GND) strap.

- Remove driver/passenger seat.
- Remove carpet - 4 - and insulation in area of sensor.
- Remove cover - 5 -.







- Disconnect harness connector - 2 - and remove bolts - 3 - (10 Nm).







Installing
- Installation is reverse order of removal.

CAUTION: Make sure no one is in vehicle.

- Switch on ignition.
- Close doors.
- Connect battery Ground (GND) strap.
