Radio serial number sticker placed on the vertical surface of spare tire well (arrow shows Jetta location, other models will be near same area) as shown beginning with the following VIN's:

As part of the PDI, the radio sticker (with radio serial number and code number) must be removed from the spare tire well and attached to the radio card in the Owner's Information.
- When radio must be coded, always attempt to obtain radio code from customer first.
If code is not available:
- Attempt to locate radio serial number in spare tire well in location shown.
If radio code cannot be obtained from customer and serial number is not available on vehicle:
- Remove radio, obtain serial number.
- Input serial number into V-Crest System to obtain radio code.
