Rear Window Wiper Motor

WARNING: Before working on the electrical system disconnect the battery Ground (GND) strap.

NOTES:
- If the vehicle has a security coded radio, obtain code number from customer before disconnecting the battery.
- When the battery is reconnected, check operation of electrical equipment (radio, clock and convenience electrics etc.).

Assembly Overview:

1 - Cover cap
2 - Hex nut
- 13 mm AF
- 15 Nm (11 ft lb)
3 - Wiper arm
4 - Seal
5 - Jet
6 - Seal
7 - Wiper motor
8 - Hex nut
- M6
- 8 Nm
9 - Rubber ring
10 - Spacer
11 - Wiper blade


Removing rear wiper motor
- Remove wiper arm. Service and Repair
- Remove rear lid lower trim. Service and Repair





- Disconnect harness connector -1- off wiper motor.
- Disconnect hose -2- to washer jets.
- Unbolt M6 10 mm AF hex bolts (arrows) and remove wiper motor.





When installing the wiper motor ensure that the seal in the rear window seats as illustrated here.
