Ignition System Components, Removing and Installing
NOTE: Engine Control Module (ECM) with connectors. Refer to item -4- Locations
Ignition System Components:
1 - 10 Nm (7 ft lb)
2 - Ignition wire
- 4-8 Kohms
- With suppression connector and spark plug connector
- Only remove and install spark plug connector using tool T10029
3 - Spark plug
- 30 Nm (22 ft lb)
- Remove and install using 3122B spark plug removal tool
- Spark plug type and electrode gap. Specifications
4 - 20 Nm (15 ft lb)
- Tightening torque influences function of knock sensor
5 - Knock Sensor (KS) 2 -G66-*
- Sensor and harness connector terminals are gold plated
- Checking. Testing and Inspection

6 - Harness connector
- Brown, 2-pin
- For Knock Sensor (KS) 2 - G66-
- Sensor and harness connector terminals are gold plated
7 - Knock Sensor (KS) 1 -G61-*
- Sensor and harness connector terminals are gold plated
