Door, Removing And Installing







Vehicles --> 05.00
- Remove bolts - 1 - and remove triangular panel - 2 - toward rear - arrow -.
- Remove operating lever for front hood lock (drivers side only).
- Remove lower A-pillar trim







Vehicles 06.00 -->
- Remove trim - 4 - using screwdriver.
- Remove bolts - 1 - and - 3 - and remove triangular panel - 2 - toward rear - arrow -.
- Remove operating lever for front hood lock (drivers side only).
- Remove lower A-pillar trim







- Disconnect multi-pin harness connectors - 1 - at A-pillar - 2 -.







- Remove cover - 1 - for wiring harness - 2 - out of body opening in inner A-pillar.







- Remove wiring harness at bellows - 1 - out of A-pillar between door and A-pillar.







- Remove pin - 1 - of door arrester - 2 -.







- To prevent damage to paint work, cover fender - 2 - in area of lower hinge - 3 - with fabric reinforced adhesive tape - 1 -.







- Remove cover cap - 1 - from set screw at lower hinge.
- Remove set screw - 2 - from lower hinge. Tightening torque: 13 Nm

If access to set screw through gap between door and A-pillar is not possible or extremely difficult, proceed as follows:

- Loosen rear half of front wheelhousing liner in area of A-pillar so that fender mounting is accessible along A-pillar.







- Remove bolts - 1 - and nuts - 2 -.







- Carefully remove fender - 1 - from A-pillar - arrow - and block (e.g. using plastic wedge).
- If necessary, remove cover cap and set screw - 2 - from lower hinge. Tightening torque: 13 Nm
- Remove fender blocking after removing set screw.







Vehicles --> 05.00
- Remove bolt - 1 - from upper hinge. Tightening torque: 27 Nm
- Lift out door upward from angle hinge.

NOTE: Remove exterior mirror - 2 - from vehicle together with door.







Vehicles 06.00 -->
- Remove bolt - 1 - from upper hinge. Tightening torque: 27 Nm
- Lift out door upward from angle hinge.

NOTE: Remove exterior mirror - 2 - from vehicle together with door.
