5 - Valve body
- Solenoid valves -N88-, -N89-, -N90-, -N91-, -N92-, -N93- and -N94- are attached to valve body
- Checked by On Board Diagnostic (OBD)
6 - Multi-function Transmission Range (TR) switch -F125-
- Checked by On Board Diagnostic (OBD)
7 - Sensor for Transmission RPM -G182-
- Records transmission input speed
- Checked by On Board Diagnostic (OBD)
8 - Transmission Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) -G38-
- Records transmission output speed
- Checked by On Board Diagnostic (OBD)
9 - Tiptronic switch -F189-
- Location: Integrated into printed circuit for transmission range selector level display panel in cover for selector lever
- Consists of 3 Hall sensors, actuated by magnets
- Switch can be checked in Read Measuring Value Block and in electrical testing (See Electrical Testing, TCM Pinout Charts)
- If malfunctions occur in Tiptronic switch, transmission range selector lever display panel with integral printed circuit must be replaced
10 - Shift lock solenoid -N110-
- Can be checked electrically (See Electrical Testing, TCM Pinout Charts) and via Read Measuring Value Block
11 - Throttle Position (TP) sensor -G69-
- Throttle position signal is transmitted to Transmission Control Module (TCM) -J217- via Engine Control Module (ECM). The signal can only be checked in Read Measuring Value Block
- If On Board Diagnostic (OBD) indicates a malfunction in Throttle Position (TP) sensor -G69-, also perform On Board Diagnostic (OBD) for ECM
- The signal of Throttle Position (TP) sensor -G69- is checked by On Board Diagnostic (OBD)
12 - Cruise control switch -E45-
- Can be checked in electrical testing. See Electrical Testing, TCM Pinout Charts
13 - Starting interlock relay -J207-
14 - Transmission Range (TR) selector lever display -Y6-
- If all segments of TR selector lever display light up together, or TR selector lever display does not light up, transmission is in emergency running mode. See "Description of On-Board Diagnostics", safety functions of Transmission Control Module (TCM) -J217-
15 - Kickdown switch -F8-
- Can be checked electrically (See Electrical Testing, TCM Pinout Charts), and via Read Measuring Value Block
16 - Brake light switch -F-
- Can be checked electrically (See Electrical Testing, TCM Pinout Charts), and via Read Measuring Value Block
