1 - Transmission Control Module -J217-
- Control modules are checked by On Board Diagnostic (OBD).
- The signal from the throttle position sensor is directed via the engine control module to the transmission control module and can only be checked in measured value block. See "How to Read Measured Value Block". If a malfunction is indicated in the throttle position sensor, then also carry out On Board Diagnostic (OBD) on the engine control module.
- The signal of the throttle position sensor can be checked by On Board Diagnostic (OBD).
2 - Engine control module
- Removing and installing:

NOTE: If the engine or transmission control modules are replaced, the system must be returned to basic setting. See "How to Return TCM to Basic Setting".

3 - Data Link Connector (DLC)
4 - Valve body
- The solenoid valves -N88-, -N89-, -N90-, -N91-, -N92-, -N93- and -N94- are attached to the valve body
- Components are checked by On Board Diagnostic (OBD)
5 - Conductor strip with integrated transmission fluid temperature sensor -G93-
- -G93- is checked by On Board Diagnostic (OBD)
6 - Multi-function Transmission Range (TR) switch -F125-
- Service and Repair:

- Checked by On Board Diagnostic (OBD)
7 - Transmission vehicle speed sensor -G38-
- The connector T2 to wiring harness is white
- Checked by On Board Diagnostic (OBD)

NOTE: Do not interchange connector T2 for sensors -G38- and -G68-

8 - Vehicle speed sensor (VSS) -G68-
- The connector T2 to wiring harness is black
- Checked by On Board Diagnostic (OBD)

9 - Shift lock solenoid -N110-
- Can be checked electrically: See "Electrical Testing (TCM Pinout Charts)" and via reading measured value block: See "How to Read Measured Value Block".
10 - Cruise control transmission range switch -E45-
- Removing and installing:

- Can be checked via reading measured value block See How to Read Measured Value Block.
11 - Kickdown switch -F8-
- When removing and installing kickdown switch, remove and install the throttle cable, then adjust afterwards
- Adjust throttle cable
- Can be checked electrically See Electrical Testing (TCM Pinout Charts) and via reading measured value block: See How to Read Measured Value Block.
12 - Brake light switch -F-
- Removing and installing:
