Hood, Assembly Overview 03.98-->







1 - Hood
- Removing:
- Disconnect hoses for windshield washer system and remove washer nozzles.
- Remove gas-filled strut at hood.
- Remove bolts and remove hood.

- Adjusting:
- Align hood - 1 - between fenders by sliding hood hinges.
- With rubber stop, hood can be adjusted in height to fenders.
- Adjust gap dimensions
- After installation or adjusting, corrosion protection measure must be performed on hinge and bolts.

2 - Gas-filled strut
- Releasing gas.

3 - Lock carrier seal
4 - Rubber stop
- With stop, hood height can be adjusted to fender.

5 - Guide piece
6 - Plenum chamber seal
- Inserted on flange

7 - Washer nozzle
8 - Bolt
- 23 Nm

9 - Hinge
10 - Rubber buffer
