CAUTION!

Before working on the electrical system:

- Obtain radio anti-theft code.

- Ignition OFF!

- Disconnect battery Ground (GND) strap.

Note:

After reconnecting battery:

-- Activate vehicle equipment such as radio, clock and power windows as per Repair Manual and/or Owner's Manual.

-- On vehicles equipped with OBD II, activate readiness code -> Repair Manual,"Fuel Injection & Ignition," Repair Group 01


Notes:

- The instrument cluster should not be disassembled.

- For checking instrument cluster voltage supply, indicators and warning lights using VAG 1598 test box







1 - Bulb with holder
- Instrument cluster light -L10-
- 12V/2.0W

2 - Bulb with holder
- Right turn signal indicator light -K94-
- 12V/1.1 W

3 - Bulb with holder
- Headlight high beam indicator light -K1-
- 12V/1.1 W

4 - Bulb with holder
- Left turn signal indicator light -K65-
- 12V/1.1 W





5 - Socket 1 for 28-pin connector -T28-

6-Bulb with holder
- Digital display light -L75-, illumination for digital clock or multi- function indicator
- 12V/1.1W

7 - Bulbs with holders
- For indicators and/or warning lights; applications depend on vehicle equipment
- 12V/1.1W


8 - Bulb with holder
- Illumination for speedometer -G21- and odometer
- 12V/1.1W

9 - Socket 2 for 28-pin connector -T28b-
