- Installation location, engine compartment overview
- With power output stage -N157-
4 Connector
- Black, 3-pin
5 H.T. cable
- Resistance 4.8 to 7.2 kOhm
- With suppression connector and spark plug connector
6 Rotating latch
7 H.T. cable
- Resistance 4.8 to 7.2 kOhm
- With suppression connector and spark plug connector
- Use 3277 when pulling off and pressing on
8 Knock sensor (KS) 1 -G61-*
- Fitting location, engine compartment overview
- Sensor and connector contacts are goldplated
9 3-pin connector
- Contacts gold plated
- Blue
10 20 Nm
- Tightening torque influences the function of the knock sensor
11 Spark plug, 30 Nm
- Remove and install with spark plug spanner 3122B
- Type and electrode gap, Technical data, spark plugs
12 25 Nm
13 Clamp
14 O-ring
- Replace if damaged
15 Distributor with Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor -G40-*
- Checking Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor
16 Dust cap
17 Rotor arm
- Marking: R1
- 0.6 to 1.4 kOhm
18 Distributor cap
- Check for cracks and signs of tracking
- Check contact wear
- Clean before installing
- Check carbon brush for wear and freedom of movement
