Final Drive, Overview



Note:
^ Before installing final drive measure friction torque at axle shaft.

Before Disassembling Final Drive
- Measure friction torque at axle shaft,

Note:
^ Measured friction torque must be recorded.

Measure friction torque





A-Torque gauge 0 - 600 Nm (0 - 53 inch lbs.)
B-Socket wrench 41 mm

Note:
^ Adjustments required when replacing individual components.
^ Adjustments to transmission are only required if components are being replaced, which directly affect final drive.
^ To determine what adjustments can be avoided refer to chart.
