Lower Section, Disassembling and Assembling

Intake Manifold Lower Section:

1 - Fuel pressure regulator
- Checking fuel pressure regulator and holding pressure. Refer under "Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Pressure Regulator" Testing and Inspection
2 - O-rings
- Replace if damaged
3 - Vacuum hose
- To intake manifold upper section
4 - Air line
5 - Air hose
- For air shrouded fuel injectors
6 - O-ring
- Always replace
- Before installing moisten with clean engine oil
7 - Cyl.1, 2, 3 & 4 fuel injectors (-N30- through -N33-)*/**
- Checking. Refer under "Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Injector" Testing and Inspection
- Air shrouded
8 - 20 Nm (15 ft lb)
9 - Intake manifold, lower section
10 - Gasket
- Always replace
11 - Fuel rail
12 - 10 Nm (7 ft lb)
13 - Retaining clip
- Make sure that clip is seated securely
14 - Cable guide
- Clipped onto fuel rail
15 - Return flow connection
16 - Supply connection
17 - To intake hose
