Sealing Flange and Flywheel/Drive Plate, Removing and Installing





Notes: Clutch repairs.

- To carry out the assembly work, the engine must be attached to the engine stand with engine bracket 3269.
1. 100 Nm plus additional 1/4 turn (90°)
- Always replace
- Use locking bracket 3406 for loosening and tightening
- Tighten with torque wrench VAG 1601
2. Vibration damper
3. 10Nm
4. Oil Seal
- Always replace
5. Sealing flange
- Coat sealing surface with AMV 188 001 02
6. Cylinder block
7. Oil seal
- Coat sealing surfaces with AMV 188 001 02
8. Oil seal
- Remove with extractor 2086
- Slightly coat the sealing lip of the oil seal with oil
- To install, position with mounting sleeve 2003/2A
- Pull in to stop with 2003/3
9. Flywheel/drive plate
10. 60 Nm plus additional 1/4 turn (90 °)
- Always replace
11. 25 Nm
