Shift Solenoid Position Sensor/Switch: Description and Operation

Transmission Kickdown Switch:

- The Kick Down Switch is integrated in the accelerator Bowden cable and is actuated when the pedal is depressed past the full throttle point.
- When switch is operated the gearshifts take place at a higher kickdown shift point and in addition downshifts are initiated.
