General Information
NOTE:
- The Diesel direct injection system control module is equipped with a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) memory Check and erase the DTC memory before repair or, adjustment work and initiate the output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM).
- Components marked with an asterisk (*) are checked via the On Board Diagnostic (OBD) program, checking and erasing DTC memory. Testing and Inspection
- Components marked with a double asterisk (**) can be checked with the output DTM. Testing and Inspection
- Fuel hoses in engine compartment must only be secured with spring type clips. Do not use clamp or screw type clips.
- For trouble-free operation of the electrical components, a voltage of at least 11.5 V is necessary
- During some checks it is possible that the control module will recognize and store a malfunction. Therefore, after completing all checks and repairs the DTC memory must be checked and, if necessary erased. Checking and erasing DTC memory and the readiness code generated. Testing and Inspection
