Work Procedure

- Open front and rear doors on one side of vehicle

- On the B-pillar, unclip the plastic cover -1- on the seat belt ring retaining bolt -2- and remove bolt.







- Pry upper trim cover loose at the top -A-, rotate inward and out of retaining clips -4-.

- Lift upper cover from behind lower cover and remove

- Install new upper trim cover, part number 1J5 867 243H/244H, by inserting into lower cover, aligning lower retaining clip and slider cover -Band push into position around B-pillar.

- Reinstall seat belt ring and secure with bolt and torque 40 Nm or 30 ft. lb.

- Re-clip cover over bolt

- Pull seat belt and move slider up and down to insure correct movement

- Close doors

- Repeat procedure on opposite side of vehicle

- Properly dispose of removed parts.
