Fuel Injection System Components:

1 - Heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) - G39-, 50 Nm
- Location: in front exhaust pipe
2 - 6-pin connector
- Black
- For oxygen sensor 1 before catalyst (G39) and Heated oxygen sensor (Z19)
- Right on underside of vehicle
3 - Oxygen sensor 2 after catalyst (G130), 50 Nm
- Location: in rear of catalyst
4 - 4-pin connector
- Brown
- For oxygen sensor 2 after catalyst (G130) and Heated oxygen sensor (Z29)
- Right on underside of vehicle
5 - Hall sender (G40)
6 - Secondary air inlet valve (N112)
- Secondary air system:
7 - Recirculating - valve for turbocharger -N249-
8 - Ignition coils with power output stage (N70, N127, N291, N292)
9 - Charge pressure limitation solenoid valve (N75)
10 - Protective housing
- For secondary air pump relay (J299)
11 - Engine Control Module (ECM)
(Motronic control module - J220)
- Location: below inner cover of plenum chamber, left side in passenger compartment
12 - O ring
- Replace if damaged
13 - Engine-Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor (G62)
- Blue
- For engine control module
- With coolant temperature gauge sender (G2)
- If necessary release pressure in cooling system before removing
14 - Retaining clip
- Check seated securely
15 - Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor (G70)
16 - Fuel pressure regulator
17 - Injectors (N30 - N33)
18 - 10 Nm
19 - Engine speed sender (G28)
20 - O ring
- Replace
21 - 20 Nm
- Tightening torque influences the function of the knock sensor
22 - Knock sensor 2 (G66)
23 - Secondary air pump motor (V101)
- Secondary air system:
24 - Knock sensor 1 (G61)
25 - Charge air pressure sensor -G31-
26 - Throttle valve control module (J338)
- No cable disc for accelerator cable as this is an electronic accelerator system
27 - Intake air - temperature sender (G42)
28 - Activated charcoal filter solenoid valve 1 (N80)
- Activated charcoal filter system
