Body, Rear

1 - Fender
- Removing:
- Removing wheel house liner (left only). [1][2]Procedures
- Remove tail light cluster refer to "Rear Lights, Removing and Installing". Service and Repair
- Remove fuel tank door refer to "Fuel Tank Filler Door, Removing and Installing". Service and Repair
- Remove boils -3- and -6-.
- Remove screw -2- and nut -13- at bracket -11-.
- Take out screws -9- and remove fender.

- Installing:
- Before fender installation, install a zinc intermediate piece AKL 381 035 50 to each bolt contact area.

2 - Bolt
- 6 Nm (53 in. lb)

3 - Bolt
- 6 Nm (53 in. lb)

4 - Reinforcement
- With holes

5 - Bumper cover, rear
- Removing refer to "Rear Bumper, Assembly Overview".

6 - Bolt
- 6 Nm (53 in. lb)

7 - Reinforcement
- With holes

8 - Reinforcement
- With weld nuts

9 - Bolt
- 7.5 Nm (66 in. lb)
- Qty. 9
- Install with locking compound D 185 400 A2

10 - Reinforcement
- With weld nuts

11 - Bracket
- Bolted to front of long member

12 - Abrasion protection

13 - Nut

14 - Bracket
- Bolted to front of long member
