Front bumper, assembly overview

NOTE: The bumper cover is a component of the front end and must be removed together, refer to Front End, Assembly Overview [1][2]Procedures
It is essential that the tightening sequence of the bolts/screws -10-, -12-, -15- are observed to ensure conciseness of joints/shut lines etc.





1. Cover
Removing:
- Remove wheel housing liners, refer to Wheel housing liner, removing and installing Service and Repair
- Removing front part, refer to Front end, assembly overview [1][2]Procedures
- Dismantle headlight washer system.
- Remove bolts -10- and remove clips -9- on left and right sides.
- Remove bolts -12- and -15-.

USA- Remove version with impact damper, refer to Lock carrier, assembly overview [1][2]Procedures

4. Insulation
Bonded with Butyl adhesive cord AKL 450 005 05

5. Bolt

With welded captive nuts

Install with locking fluid D 185 400 A2
