FS III Brake Caliper

1. Screw
^ 4 Nm (35 inch lbs.)

2. Brake disc
^ Thickness 22 mm (0.866 inch)
^ Wear limit 20 mm (0.787 inch)
^ When worn always replace on both sides
^ Remove brake caliper before removing disc
^ Never remove brake discs from hub by using force. If necessary use penetrating fluid, otherwise brake discs can be damaged.

3. Brake pads
^ Thickness 14 mm (0.551 inch)
^ Checking thickness, Refer to; Maintenance
^ Always replace brake pads on same axle on both sides of vehicle at same time
^ Removing and installing. FS III Caliper
^ Wear limit 7 mm (0.276 inch) including backing plate

4. Brake caliper
^ Removing and installing. FS III Caliper

5. Guide pin
^ 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.)

6. Protective cap
^ Remove

7. Brake hose with union and banjo bolt
^ 15 Nm (11 ft. 1bs.)

8. Wheel bearing housing
9. Socket-head bolt
^ 8 Nm (71 inch lbs.)

10. ABS wheel speed sensor
^ Before inserting sensor, clean hole inner surface and coat with grease, Part No. G 000 650

11. Splash shield
12. Bait
^ 10 Nm (7 ft. lbs.)

13. Wheel bearing
^ Replace each time after removing
^ Pressing out and in, Refer to Transmission and Drivetrain.

14. Circlip
15. Wheel hub with rotor
^ Removing and installing, Refer to Transmission and drivetrain.
