Section A

SECTION A- ECM Fault Interrogation





- Ignition switch in "OFF" position
- Obtain VAS 5051 and switch "ON"
- Connect VAS 5051 / 6 diagnostic cable to data link connector located under dash on left side -arrow-
- Turn ignition switch to "ON" position





- On VAS 5051 Start-up screen, press "Vehicle Self- Diagnosis" button -arrow-
- Select "01 - Engine Electronics"
- Select "02 - Interrogate fault memory"
- If DTC is present for the front oxygen sensor, print DTC information, turn ignition switch to "OFF" position, disconnect VAS 5051 from vehicle and proceed to SECTION B

NOTE: DTC print-out must remain with dealerships repair order copy.

- If no front oxygen sensor DTC is present, turn ignition switch to "OFF" position and go to SECTION C
