1 - Intake manifold, upper section
2 - Engine Control Module* (Motronic J220)
- Installation location: in protective housing, plenum chamber, left
3 - 28-pin harness connector
- Only disconnect or connect with ignition switched OFF
- Release to disconnect
4 - 52-pin Connector
- Only disconnect or connect with ignition switched OFF
- Release to disconnect
5 - 2-pin harness connector
- for Secondary Air Injection solenoid valve N112
6 - Air filter
7 - 10 Nm (7 ft lb)
8 - To Secondary Air Injection pump V101
9 - Mass Air Flow sensor G70*
10 - Air duct
- In wheelhousing
11 - 4-pin harness connector
- Blue
- for Engine Coolant Temperature sensor G62
12 - Engine - Coolant Temperature sensor G62*
- Blue
- For Engine Control Module
- With Engine Coolant Temperature sensor G2
- Release cooling system pressure before removing
13 - Retaining clip
- Ensure it is securely seated
14 - 3-pin harness connector
- Grey
- For Engine Speed sensor
15 - Engine Speed sensor G28*
- In transmission housing above starter ring gear
16 - O-ring
- Replace if damaged
17 - Spacer
18 - Oxygen sensor 2 G130* after Three Way Catalyst
- 50 Nm (37 ft lb)
19 - 4-pin harness connector
- Brown
- For Oxygen sensor 2 after Three Way Catalyst G130 and Oxygen sensor heater Z29, cylinder bank 1
20 - 21 Oxygen sensor 1 G39*
- 50 Nm (37 ft lb)
- In front exhaust pipe
- Grease threads only with G5; it must not get into the slots on the sensor body
- Sensor heater Voltage supply via fuel pump relay J17
22 - 4-pin harness connector
- Black
- For Oxygen sensor 1 G39 and Oxygen sensor heater Z19, cylinder bank 2
23 - Intake rail, lower section
24 - Fuel rail with injectors
25 - Return line
- Blue
- Secure with spring clips
- Ensure it is securely seated
26 - Supply line/hose
- Black
27 - 2-pin harness connector
- Black
- For injectors N30 to N33
28 - Gasket
- Replace if damaged
29 - 20 Nm (15 ft lb)
30 - To Positive Crankcase Ventilation valve
31 - Intake hose
- 5-pin harness connector
