Login Procedure (function 11)


NOTE:
- To avoid mix-up and false entry, determine 14-digit identification number for control module for immobilizer only by checking control module version using the VAG 1551 Scan Tool (ST). Then use identification number to ask the appropriate distributor or importer for the 4-digit secret number required for adaptation!
- After three incorrect entries of the secret number, the Engine Control Module (ECM) is locked.
- 3 attempts at entering the secret number correctly are possible immediately. The next 3 attempts are not permitted for at least 10 minutes. During this time, the ignition must remain constantly switched on. On Board Diagnostic (OBD) must be also exited using the "End Output" function 06.
- The wait period between each of the next 3 attempts doubles up to the maximum time of 255 minutes.
