Procedure when replacing instrument cluster and Engine Control Module (ECM)

If both control modules must be replaced in one vehicle, then all ignition keys must also be replaced.

The control modules must be ordered from the parts department using the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and the engine code.

The lock number is required for ordering the ignition keys

- Installation of new components.
- Before adapting components, Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) must be entered into the control module for the immobilizer. This is only possible via the VAS 5051 tester.
- Adapt Engine Control Module (ECM)
- Adapt all ignition keys.
