Locating control arm, removing and installing
Removing
- Remove wheel.





- Remove locating control arm ball joint nut and press joint pin out of tapered seat.





- Loosen bolt -1-.
- Remove bolts -3- of support and bolts -2- for subframe.
- Lower rear of subframe.
- Remove bolt -1- and remove locating control arm.

Installing





- Tighten nut on ball joint to 100 Nm (74 ft. lbs.).
- Install new bolt -1- and new nut.
- Tighten to 90 Nm (66 ft. lbs.) + 90°.

Note:
^ Only use inner holes (arrow).
^ Push locating control arm inward when tightening.

- Tighten bolt -3- to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
- Install new bolts -2- for subframe.
- Tighten to 110 Nm (81 ft. lbs.) + 90°
